모시는 말씀

코로나다 뭐다 해서 계절의 변화조차도 알아차리기 어려운 겨울의 초입입니다. 사)한국인도학회가 한국외국어대학교 인도연구소 HK+사업단과 공동주최로 제49차 정기학술대회를 개최하고자 합니다. 지금은 마스크를 벗게 되는 미래의 삶을 염두에 두기 보다는 오히려 마스크를 끼고 사는 지금의 삶을 수용해야 하는 때가 아닌가 합니다. 지난 춘계 학술대회에 이어서 이번에도 온라인 화상으로 학회를 개최합니다. 이번 학회에서는 “도시화와 인도 사회의 변동” 및 “인도 정치·여성·법”을 등을 논의하는 자리가 될 것입니다. 학술대회를 위해 애쓰신 임원님들과 학회원님들께 감사드리며, 인도와 인도학에 관심을 가지신 모든 분들이 참석하시는 즐거운 자리가 되기를 바랍니다.

We are now facing winter in spite of not realizing the changes of season with the rise of Covid-19. The Korean Society for Indian Studies (Inc.) will be holding its 49th Regular Conference with the HK+ Project of the Institute of Indian Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Rather than look forward to our future without masks, it seems that we should accept the present, mask and all. This December, we will be holding another online conference as we did last July. We will be discussing “Urbanization and changes in Indian society”, as well as “Indian Politics, Women and Law”. We sincerely thank our members and officers, who have worked hard to hold this conference, and invite all interested in South Asia and Indology to this academic meeting.
